SPEAKER_01

We had like a bit of a um we had like a problem. So they uh it no no big deal.

SPEAKER_03

Like a cat fight.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, kind of. Um but I sort of got in the fight.

SPEAKER_03

But I Oh, you you got in a physical altercation?

SPEAKER_01

Well, no no, I if it wasn't like physical So did a verbal fight then? Yeah uh did you strike this person? I didn't strike them. Um I did backhand them, but I didn't strike them. I think that's a little different.

SPEAKER_03

It's the same It's your boy, Glenn Sheen on the Ones and Twos, and I'm talking to my friend in the studio, brand new friend just made today. Welcome, Lillian Brown.

SPEAKER_01

Hello, hi, thank you for having me, Glenn.

SPEAKER_03

Lillian Brown, you are a pet influencer.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I am, yes.

SPEAKER_03

Which is fascinating to me.

SPEAKER_01

Is it?

SPEAKER_03

It is.

SPEAKER_01

I I'm so happy to hear that, Glenn.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I just I'm fascinated by pets. I'm fascinated by influencing and putting them together, I don't even know what that means. Are you you so do you like make trends happen for pets?

SPEAKER_01

So, you know, that that's kind of the goal, right? I would love to be like a trend setter in the space. Sure. Um, but currently, um, you know, I I I'm really trying to to to like build my my well, my cat Charlie. Um yes, Charlie Brown, if you put it on. Oh, that's adorable. And he just came with that name. Isn't that crazy?

SPEAKER_03

Is he a bald cat?

SPEAKER_01

No, he's black. Oh, wow. Okay, yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

I don't really have a joke for that.

SPEAKER_01

No, me neither.

SPEAKER_03

Because there's nothing funny about there's not no.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Just you can be black and Charlie Brain.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know why I'm saying it. We could have just moved on. Yeah, we could have just moved on. He's a black cat. You know, okay, something interesting about black cats.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, please.

SPEAKER_01

Um, they don't get adopted very often. Really?

SPEAKER_03

Um because is it because people think they're bad luck?

SPEAKER_01

They're people think they're bad luck.

SPEAKER_03

That's crazy.

SPEAKER_01

So people don't adopt them. So I have a black cat named Charlie who uh, you know, I'm trying to uh build the brand. So it's like very exciting that I'm here today.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, of course. Um because we're gonna get Charlie some follows. I hope so. We have tens of listeners uh every hour. So that's you're gonna get a couple of follows.

SPEAKER_01

That's amazing.

SPEAKER_03

And might might I add, uh, what is the uh handle for Charlie? What where where can people out there find him?

SPEAKER_01

Um it's uh just at Charlie Brown one, two, three, four. First I tried Charlie Brown, but of course that's you know taking so it's like um spelled out, like one, two. Oh it's kind of long.

SPEAKER_03

The words. So it's Charlie Brown and then the words one, two, three, four.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Because was Charlie Brown one, two, three already taken? Spelled out?

SPEAKER_01

I didn't check.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, you just went for the full four. Good on you. I should have checked. No, it's okay. You're making, you're building your brands. No, I should have checked. People love spelling and counting. Good. Now, can I ask you this, Lillian? Uh the the cat's names Charlie and Charlie Brown, but Charlie Brown's famous for Snoopy, who is a dog. Yeah. Is there a correlation there?

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, sorry, no, my name, uh my last name is just Brown.

SPEAKER_03

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

And then when I adopted him, his name was Charlie.

SPEAKER_03

So just Charlie Brown.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, he's just Charlie Brown. People always ask me that. And I guess that's a fair question. I do get a little annoyed by it because it's like I didn't really pick either my name or his name. Sure. I don't I liked Snoopy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we're not, we're not, we're not digging on Snoopy here. In this house, we celebrate Charles M. Schultz.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I love the comics.

SPEAKER_03

Been canceled yet. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I think he's dead.

SPEAKER_03

He got like officially canceled. Yeah. We got canceled by God.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. If you believe in God.

SPEAKER_03

Well, and even if you don't. Yeah. So what does a pet influencer do?

SPEAKER_01

Are you talking about Charlie? What does Charlie do, or what do I do as an influencer?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I would love to hear both, I guess.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So um, I mean, as a pet influencer, there's like a lot of day-to-day. Honestly, you might relate to some of this stuff. You know, you're you're doing a little bit of uh production, a little bit of planning. But there's also a lot that goes into like his care too, you know, because he has to be uh look and spick and span too. Because like one time he had just like a little bit of dander. I mean, he's a black cat. You see the the dander.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I used to have that problem big time before I went bald. Yeah. Yeah. Way, way less uh noticeable dander. I still have a lot of dander. You just can't see it.

SPEAKER_01

Head and shoulders, not maybe for the listeners.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, we can advertise head and shoulders. It's been around for a long time, yeah. Yeah, I just while we're at it, knees and toes, you know. Yeah, that'd be funny. They should make a body wash called knees and toes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Right? I'm gonna write that down. Yeah, write that down.

SPEAKER_03

So you're um pampering uh and priming and propering uh uh Charlie on a daily basis because he looks presentable.

SPEAKER_01

I brought up the dander because you know, one time I posted a posted just like a just just a classic cat video. He had a little bit of dander and someone got really like a they said I wasn't like taking good enough care of him. I know. And he knows don't even know me, they don't even know what type of care I'm taking with him, and I'm taking very good care of him, by the way. Um, so you know, there's I had to get into like the salmon oil stuff. Oh yes, it makes their coats very silky.

SPEAKER_03

Um, so you you cover him in salmon oil?

SPEAKER_01

No, I guess I I should have clarified. It's not like on the skin, you just like put it on the food. Oh but it's not cheap and uh but you put it on the food and then they they eat it and it just like uh Charlie's eaten better than me. Sort of like when you have fish oil. I mean, again, I I didn't mean to bring up hair again. Uh but it's okay.

SPEAKER_03

Um I'm at peace with the fact that my hair is gone. It's kind of like uh yeah, I I I had a funeral, you know, when I was younger, and then I went to a wake for my hair. Yeah. And now it's like an immemorium.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I've been to a funeral before. Oh, you have? Yeah. What was that like? Not fun like this. Not fun like this.

SPEAKER_03

No, we're we're hopefully we're better than a funeral.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

We're putting the fun in funeral. Yeah well, I mean nothing's died here except for a few careers. Yeah, so uh fish oil.

SPEAKER_01

Fish oil. Well, that's for humans. Oh, sure. But he has salmon oil.

SPEAKER_03

And salmon oil is different than fish oil. Well because maybe they're just selling salmon oil, but it's really like goldfish oil.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

You know, but actually that'd be more expensive because goldfish are small.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And so you'd have to squeeze a lot of them. Actually, don't know how oil's made.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know how oil's made.

SPEAKER_03

I don't get how oil's made. I know that our country is reliant upon it. Um so I want to know a couple things here. Do you have a memory from childhood that maybe um sparks in you right now uh uh what you'd become today? Yeah you look back and go, oh man, maybe that was the moment I knew one day I'll be a pet influencer.

SPEAKER_01

I was at church. You know, every Christmas they do they do the the Jesus story. You you know, oh yeah, the nativity. Yeah, the nativity. But the point is, um every year I was a sheep. Uh like one of the sheep. Oh.

SPEAKER_03

So you learned then from being a sheep so many years in a row. Yes. That you're like, maybe I should be influencing pets.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'm like, maybe like when I grow up, I think like being an animal, like I just like did well in that role. Yeah. I just like get it. I I understand what it means to be like performing as an animal.

SPEAKER_02

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

And I think I channeling that, I can really like I can really like use those skills and channel that into my cat. And I do have a lot of cats. I've tried with a couple of them, but he really has that like star quality.

SPEAKER_03

So you mentioned dander, and now that's been taken care of. Taken care of with the salmon oil. Other issues at all with um, you know, having five cats around your house? Like you have to worry about, you know, I don't know, fleas or like uh other like pests or whatever?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, sometimes we don't have to worry about mice because they get those.

SPEAKER_03

That's like uh Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom, and Jerry.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, or Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom. No Jerry, because they killed it. Oh, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Jerry's dead. Uh do you have any tricks to sync up with your cat when maybe you and Charlie are getting ready to make a video or do some type of like event? Do you have any like ways to have him kind of sync up with your vibe?

SPEAKER_01

Well, skin to skin contact is very important. Oh wow. Yeah, yeah. Sort of like babies, like you hold them. Sometimes I like, you know, when you go to bed, sometimes I, you know, I don't I I feel like I'm revealing I don't want to get graphic or anything. But like, you know, sometimes you sleep like just in your underwear, you know? Oh, wow. And so do you sleep in pajamas?

SPEAKER_03

No, no, no. Oh, okay. I sleep, I sleep naked. Oh, so you But I end up sticking to my air mattress. So I I might get a sheet or something like that. You need sheets?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I have some sheets in my car I was gonna donate. I can give you some sheets if you need sheets for an air mattress. What size is the air mattress?

SPEAKER_03

Are they covered in cat hair?

SPEAKER_01

Um, they're not too bad. For five cats, not too bad.

SPEAKER_03

For five cats, where's that?

SPEAKER_01

You kind of are desperate anyway. Sorry, I was just trying to be funny.

SPEAKER_03

No, it's it is I uh I've been getting I've been getting told that a lot. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you just said you stick to an air mattress. Um I guess you could just wear your boxers too.

SPEAKER_03

That's well, I usually I mean I'm actually I'm I'm more of a briefs man.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

We're about to cut the ad break right now, actually.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Uh but uh we're in the studio with Lillian Brown, uh a pet influencer, uh, mother of uh at Charlie Brown1234. You can find her across the platforms. We'll be right back. Boom! Are you doing great? You're doing so good.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, thanks. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you. Are you okay? You seemed a little teary. Oh, I'm good. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03

I've just been learning to express my emotions when I feel that's great. Like really intense emotions. Yeah. Me too. Yeah. I used to I used to only ever cry at the uh grocery store. I would just kind of find like the softest kiwi and you know, pet it with my thumb. And um it wasn't my only chance to kind of like feel like it was like the kind of like a cheek of acid.

SPEAKER_01

Oh is it working?

SPEAKER_03

What's that? Crying. It feels good.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, good.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's kind of like squeezing out a sponge that was full of acid.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Because even if you hide your feelings because you're afraid people you love might stop loving you. Yeah. And then they stop loving you anyway. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What was the point? What was I what was I feeling? Yeah, what was the point?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I should have been more honest with myself.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you gotta tell people you love them, and um, I do that every you know, every day with my cats. You do that with your cats, yeah. All the time.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, and we're coming back. All right. You're doing great. We're back, 87.9 K who radio. That last ad was from the City Council of Minnetonka, Minnesota. Minnetonka, you can't live here, but you can visit. Okay, we're in the studio with Lillian Brown. She's a pet influencer. She is the mother of at Charlie Brown1234 on Instagram and all over social media platforms. What's next for you and for Charlie and for building your brand?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, you you know, the the hardest part is getting uh you know, getting sponsorship. Uh so I've been really been trying, you know, the the big ones, you know, you've got Petco. McDonald's. You've got ch Well McDonald's Disney. Yeah, Coca-Cola.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Oh, so I'm just repeating them so we can get some of them, hopefully. Okay. I'm pretty sure if we say them enough, they have to pay us.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think so.

SPEAKER_03

So sponsorship, but like is there another event coming up, or is this something that you're looking to champion or move forward with with Charlie?

SPEAKER_01

Uh next event. Well, that's sort of like in the works. That's what we're trying to get, is the next event.

SPEAKER_02

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

Um, at the last event, we sort of uh we had this, we had like uh event where we brought our pets and we spoke to like other influencers and we had like a bit of a um we had like a problem. So they uh it no big deal. Like a cat fight. Yeah, kind of. Um, but I sort of got in the fight.

SPEAKER_03

But I Oh you you got in a physical altercation?

SPEAKER_01

Well, no, no, I it wasn't like physical, I wouldn't say physical altercation.

SPEAKER_03

So what kind of so just a verbal fight then?

SPEAKER_01

Uh I I don't I guess. I I don't think it was my fault, you know. Oh, I wasn't saying because you know uh her cat was the one that was looking at my cat weird. Oh yeah, and then and then started like hissing at only my cat. And uh and and then and then I was like, hey, hey, what's going on? Like, and she was like, Oh, he's just a cat. I don't know, maybe it they're getting aggressive, and I was like, No, this feels like pointed, you know.

SPEAKER_03

Sure. And uh so it sounds like you took it personal for Charlie.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no, no, no. It it it kind of was personal.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um, you know, uh I got a little upset. Sure.

SPEAKER_02

Um did you strike this person?

SPEAKER_01

I didn't strike them. Um I did backhand them, but I didn't strike them. I think that's a little different. Well, they did say they were like, you wanted to be in they like called me a failed actress, and I was like, I didn't try to be an act, like it was a little rude, you know?

SPEAKER_03

Like a little was this a person you knew well?

SPEAKER_01

I don't want to name names. Um, but we are related, but it's unimportant.

SPEAKER_03

So you you got into an altercation with somebody you happened to be related to, you said? Yes. And then you you bitch slapped. Well backhand.

SPEAKER_01

I think bitch slap is that's like open hand to the face. That's a bitch slap. Is it?

SPEAKER_03

I thought a bitch slap was this way.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no, that's a backhand.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, that's a backhand. What was Charlie doing during this?

SPEAKER_01

Um, you know, that's a great question. I kind of had lost track of him.

SPEAKER_03

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

But it's we found him. Um he was he was just hiding.

SPEAKER_03

Well, Lillian, we're we're getting right to the end of the interview, but we do have a couple of questions from the K Who questionnaire, if you don't mind. This is just some rapid fire shoot from the hip. Whatever you come to uh mind first. I would love to hear some of your thoughts on this. Uh first of all, what's your favorite kind of muffin? Blueberry. Blueberry classic. Uh, if you could be reincarnated into any animal, what would it be? Cat. I think I knew the answer, but I had to ask you. Silly question. Fair. And then let's say you're a cat, you have all nine lives to spend. Uh, what are the eight ways you want to die?

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Eight ways I want to die. Um, well, I'm killing myself in every version.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, wow.

SPEAKER_01

You know, and there's many ways to do that. Um you've got pills, you've got um guns. I I'm not allowed to have that anymore. Uh you got the bridge, you've got uh pill. No, I already said that one. Um I guess heading by a bus might be kind of interesting. I'd make the news. I might be famous from that, you know, if I get like a big accident or something. A big accident could be cool, you know, or like dying in like a terrorist attack. People would remember my name.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I thought you were gonna say, like, oh, bungee jumping or like parachute didn't open or that seems morbid.

SPEAKER_01

Oh. How would you how would you want to die if you're gonna be able to do that?

SPEAKER_02

I'd like to live forever.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. I didn't know that was an option. Okay, sorry. I'd want to live forever. Oh, okay. We'll just put that one down as your I'd want to live forever.

SPEAKER_03

Forever. Kind of like uh like like Thackeray Binks in uh Hocus Pocus. That was a black cat that could keep coming back until he finally did die and got released.

SPEAKER_01

I've never seen a hocus pocus.

SPEAKER_03

Drop everything you're doing tonight.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03

And watch Hocus Pocus. Okay. And actually, you know what? Skip the first one. I'm gonna drop everything too. Watch Hocus Pocus 2.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Don't even watch the first one.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Well, Lillian Brown, mother of Charlie Brown, 1234, you can find her online and uh find that little uh scamp, uh now dandruff free, uh uh online. Uh thank you so much for joining us in the studio.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you so much for having me. This is a dream completely.

SPEAKER_03

It's an absolute pleasure to have you here. Absolutely. Uh so up next, uh, listeners, K Who Radio, uh, in honor of this interview, uh, the next hour rock block is actually just gonna be the musical Cats played on repeat. Okay.
